About Us

The Association of Private Universities, Madhya Pradesh (APU MP) is a collective body (association) of private universities operating in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Organizational Update-2025-26

The association held its annual meeting in Bhopal. A new executive committee was formed:

  • To promote quality education and high academic standards in private universities.
  • To protect and represent the interests of member universities.
  • To ensure fair and transparent policies in admissions, fees, and governance.
  • To encourage research, innovation, and skill development.
  • To collaborate with government and regulatory bodies for education reforms.
  • To enhance global exposure and partnerships for students and institutions.

Core Committee

Engineer Sanjeev Agarwal, Chancellor of SAGE University, has been elected as President of the Private University Association's executive committee. Dr. Ajit Singh Patel, Pro-Chancellor of Madhyanchal Professional University, has been re-elected as Secretary. In addition, two acting presidents have been appointed.

Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Chancellor, JNCT University, and Anant Soni, Pro-Chancellor, AKS University, were elected to this position. Dr. Harpreet Singh Saluja, Chairman, SAM University, was elected to the position of Treasurer. Gaurav Tiwari, Chancellor, Mansarovar University, was elected to the position of Additional Secretary.

For the post of Vice President, Engineer B.S. Yadav, Chancellor, IES University Diwakar Singh, Chancellor, Sardar Patel University Dr. Anil Tiwari, Chancellor, SVN University Dr. Pushpendra Singh Gautam, Pro-Chancellor, Ayurveda University Daulat Singh, Pro-Chancellor, ITM University have been selected.
